Not really a classic Beck cut, this is the sound of Beck’s autopilot on autopilot. Less breaks than electro-clash, the ‘stream-of-consciousness’ lyrics have clearly been made by transcribing what the word-fridge-magnets said at Hansen mansions after the latest party. ‘Timebomb ticking, Timebomb ticking, there’s a timebomb ticking, going tick, tick, tick’. Yes mate, and it's under your sales figures. Nevertheless, this'll probably chart and is infinitely preferable to the Spice Girls.
