Once again the Red Hot Pipe And Slippers hit us with something that sounds suspiciously like Scar Tissue - though – to be fair - I kind of like it. One of the highlights of last year's Stadium Arcadium LP, it's rousing chorus easily lifts it above its Californication blueprint and evokes a sunny psychedelic West coast that didn't even exist in the sixties. And therein lies the band's perpetual charm.
