/Sunday Morning People, practice what you preach…/ Italian label Record Kicks continue their services to the funk by releasing this as a single for the first time ever - which gives everyone another chance to hear soul legends Honey Cone tackle the pulsating, fetid beast of self-righteous Christian hypocrisy armed only with horns, wah guitar, a breakbeat and gorgeous Motown-style female soul harmonies. It's a losing battle of course but fighting against impossible odds has rarely sounded more uplifting.
