FOREIGN LEGION - INTERVIEW & news update - Secret Knock EP/ New LP and bye-bye Design

...Yes Bay Area hip-hoppers Foreign Legion will soon be back and have just released the artwork for their upcoming EP The Secret Knock and as you can see - they are still dirty bastards. Having managed to track down rapper/producer Prozack Turner - one of the hardest working men in hip-hop - the monkey was able to corner him for just long enough to glean a few nuggets of information on what's up with DJ Design and the new stuff which according to Turner is already being hailed by critics as "a hip-hop masterpiece, only shittier."
MONKEYBOXING (MB): Nice one on the artwork front - you've hinted at a new release for some time now - I'm assuming The Secret Knock is a full length LP...
Prozack Turner (PT): Thanks. The Secret Knock is a six song EP - the album will follow up in the summer.
MB: Blimey - no releases for 5 years and then two come along at once! What's the deal with DJ Design though - I noticed on the FL myspace that the group was listed as you, Marc Stretch and DJ Flip...?
PT: Dj Design broke up with us...haha! We are all friends forever but we're just moving in different directions musically.
MB: What about the track Kali Distortion that was featured on the FL myspace - will that be on the EP or the LP?
PT: Kali Distortion will not be on the album but it is coming out on G Koop's project - he did the beat.
MB: Glad to hear it - thanks for taking a minute to speak to the monkey - give us a shout when release dates get closer - looking forward to more FL - it's been too long!
