Of all the tracks on Attack Release, I Got Mine is the one that producer Dangermouse has had his clammy hands on the least and could easily be a lost cut from the Big Come Up recording sessions. Dan Auerbach sounds both tortured and demonic belting out lyrics in the classic Delta mould like "I was a movin man/ In my younger Days/ But I've grown out/ Of my ramblin ways" over a fat blues lick even bigger than the beard he’s sporting on the album cover. Yup - he’s got his and when you hear this you know you’re pretty much gonna get yours too.
Released 9th June on V2.
