SHIMI SONIC: Hot Peach EP (2013)

Tel Aviv-based producer Shimi Sonic has his Hot Peach EP out on Riddim Fruit in a matter of days. ‘Hot peach’ sounds vaguely rude to me. Mind you, Shimi Sonic sounds like a Manga superhero and even Tel Aviv sounds a little bit like the name of a used car salesman – “You know Tel! Tel Aviv! He’s got that lockup down under the arches!”.
