MR BIRD: Champignon Sound (2012)

The world of breakbeat seems to be awash with downtempo stuff this autumn and here’s some more in the shape of Mr Bird‘s Champignon Sound. Funk and hip-hop aficionados may well recognise the cowbell-toting break on which this rests, although as far as I’m aware it hasn’t previously been combined with minimal synth melancholia and wobbly bass.
