“Shoulda known better than to fuck wit you…that drug got you like I want you” – this first single off Atmosphere’s forthcoming LP finds Slug ruminating on the fact that having a junkie as a lover does your head in while Ant lays down a dirty synth bassline with a kill radius of about 3 miles. Topic-wise it’s not exactly what you’d expect to hear coming from the speakers while lapdancers gyrate around poles in a strip club and yet it’s such a filthy, seedy monster of a track that that’s exactly where I imagine it being played. Simply put, this is everything a lead single should be and deserves your attention.
